Daniel Conlon is a shareholder in Tucker Arensberg P.C., a leading Pittsburgh law firm with 75 attorneys representing municipal, commercial, and non-profit clients nationwide.
Daniel's focus is on municipal law. In addition to serving as Leetsdale Borough Solicitor, Daniel works with the Boroughs of Avalon and Ben Avon, and Ross Township Civil Service Commission. He also serves as Special Counsel to the Township of Cranberry (Venango County) on zoning and property maintenance code matters.
Daniel advises municipalities on the Sunshine Act, State Ethics Act, Borough Code, Municipalities Planning Code, Uniform Construction Code, and Right to Know Law. Working with densely developed boroughs on a path to revitalization has helped Daniel develop expertise in blight remediation strategies, such as conservatorship. From providing advice at public meetings, drafting complex ordinances that are defensible in court to prosecuting code violations, Daniel believes his role as Solicitor is to help elected and appointed government officials fulfill their official duties and protect their communities.
Daniel has received his Bachelor of Arts degree from North Park University, and his J.D. from Duquesne University. He is the Co-Chair of Tucker Arensberg's Hospitality Group, and a Board Director for the Latino Community Center and the Pittsburgh Hispanic Development Corporation.
