The Leetsdale Borough Council is comprised of seven members all of whom are elected to four year terms. Each even numbered year, the Council is reorganized and a President and Vice-President are chosen by a majority vote of the members.
The Council is vested with the legislative and executive powers of the Borough and is responsible for the annual budget. Council sets policy and makes appointments to the various Borough Boards, Commissions and Authorities.
Leetsdale Borough Council will hold their 2026 Regular Meetings the second Thursday of each month for General Business purposes as follows: January 8, February 12, March 12, April 9, May 14, June 11, July 9, August 13, September 10, October 8, November 12 and December 10.
Borough Council Non-Voting Workshop meetings will be held as follows: February 5, March 5, April 2, May 7, June 4, July 2, August 6, September 3, October 1, November 5 and December 3.

Meetings begin at 7:00 pm in Council Chambers at the Leetsdale Borough Building, 373 Beaver Street Leetsdale PA 15056. If you have a disability requiring special accommodation to attend a meeting, please contact the Borough Office at 724-266-4820 as early as possible, but not later than five (5) workdays prior to the meeting. The Borough will make every effort to provide a reasonable accommodation.
The Borough Engineer will conduct MS4 Meetings during the Regular Meetings on April 9 and September 10.
The Planning Commission will meet the 4th Tuesday of each month as needed.
The Recreation Board will meet the 2nd Wednesday of each month as needed.
The Shade Tree Commission will meet on the 2nd Tuesday each month as needed.
The Zoning Hearing Board will meet as needed.
